Site-Specific Weather Dashboards for Australian Sites

Why this exists

Most services give regional outlooks. We deliver site pages your team can use to decide: “What happens at our location at 2 pm on Thursday?”

The aim is not to overwhelm you with weather graphics. It is to organise the same inputs into a clear, decision-ready format that helps with planning, timing and risk management.

What you get

Free public products

Forecast Maps — nationwide forecast maps for temperature, wind, rain, wet-bulb, frost risk, chill hours and more. No login required.

Live Observations Map — a fast BoM station map with filters for temperature, wind, dew point, humidity, rainfall and other key variables.

State Observation Tables — sortable BoM station tables for each state and territory, designed to be quick to read and mobile-friendly.

Site-specific subscription products

Site Meteogram — time-series charts for a single location, terrain-adjusted for better local fit and operational timing.

7-Run Stitched Ensemble — the last seven GFS runs plotted on overlapping hours to show spread and confidence at your exact site.

Daily Forecast Table — a BoM-style 9 am to 9 am day summary with min/max temperature, rain, wind and gust max, wet-bulb max, heat index max, apparent max, frost-risk max and chill hours.

Maps are free for context. The paid products turn that context into a more easily ingested operational page for a site, team or business.

Who uses this

  • Mining, cement, construction, ports and energy: heat and wet-bulb work limits, crane and lift windows, blasting timing, dust management and site planning.
  • Horticulture and agriculture: frost protection, spray windows, chill accumulation, harvest timing and weather-sensitive operations.
  • Councils, contractors and events: storm and wind triggers, crew rostering, outdoor scheduling and venue decisions.

Data and refresh

  • Forecast model: GFS, stitched across the last seven runs with terrain adjustment where relevant.
  • Observations: Bureau of Meteorology (BoM).
  • Updates: forecast pages refresh twice daily; observations update roughly every 30 to 60 minutes.
  • Coverage: Australia-wide for any nominated site or coordinate.

In general, services are offered per site, with optional add-ons such as daily PDF briefs, alerts and other tailored metrics where useful.

Accuracy and use

This service provides guidance to support site decisions. It should be used alongside official warnings, local observations and your organisation’s own procedures. Weather carries uncertainty, which is why spread and timing matter.

FAQ

Do you cover any location in Australia?

Yes. Supply a site name or coordinates and a page can be provisioned for that location.

Is this a true ensemble?

We use a practical operational approach: the last seven GFS runs plotted on overlapping hours to show near-term spread and confidence.

Do you include heat-stress metrics?

Yes. Wet-bulb, heat index and apparent temperature can be included, with alerting on nominated thresholds if required.

Can you integrate my on-site weather station?

If the station is cloud-connected or otherwise accessible, we can often ingest and co-plot it case by case.

What’s the refresh schedule?

Forecast pages update twice daily. Observations update roughly every 30 to 60 minutes depending on the BoM source feed.
