1. Choose your site allowance
Viewer-only access is A$50/month and does not require site nominations. Your selection here is a request; we will verify your membership separately.
2. Locate and add each site
Click the map to add a pin. Drag a pin to refine its location. You can also enter coordinates below; latitude comes first.
Map tiles are provided by OpenStreetMap. Loading the map shares your IP address and viewed map area with the tile provider. Provider privacy policy.
Decimal degrees and degrees/minutes/seconds are supported. Use S or a minus sign for south, W for west. For MGA/UTM grid coordinates, include easting, northing, zone and datum in the request notes for manual conversion; do not enter them as latitude/longitude.
3. Review and send for confirmation
Give every site a name and timezone, then tick its location confirmation. Add your name and PDF delivery email in the submission form below.
Site details are held in this page until you submit the form. Reloading clears unsent pins. Submitting sends your email and coordinates privately to The Weather Project for setup and review; it does not subscribe you to marketing emails or activate PDF delivery.
